The Company currently represents 4 and 5-star graded and serviced apartments located within the Cape Town CBD, Foreshore and De Waterkant areas.
Job Description
HR Intern – ITC Hospitality Group (Cape Town)
Start Date: January 2026 | Part-time, 3–6 months | Monthly Stipend: R5000
About the Role:
ITC Hospitality Group is looking for a motivated HR Intern who is currently studying Human Resources and is required to complete a logbook for their studies. You will work directly with the Human Resources Supervisor, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of HR in a small, fast-paced hospitality environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to apply your HR learning in a real-world setting and gain practical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with recruitment: job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
Support onboarding: preparing employment documentation, conducting induction sessions, and maintaining employee files
Perform HR administration: data entry, filing, updating records, and generating reports
Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Complete a logbook documenting tasks, learning outcomes, and reflections for academic purposes
Requirements:
Currently studying Human Resources
Must be required to complete a logbook as part of your studies
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
Proactive and willing to learn
May rotate across various departments to understand HR’s role and its importance in supporting different business functions
Reporting Line: Directly to the Human Resources Supervisor
