Our Staff
In our business we aim to provide a very personalized and exceptional service to our guests, from the first contact via email or phone, to check-in all the way to saying goodbye after their stay. To make our guests’ stay as comfortable and unforgettable as possible, we are assisted by the following staff members:
   
 

Carl Smith

Operations/Guest Relations Manager
Responsible for all aspects of the daily management of the office and its staff to ensure it is efficient and to support the company’s objective to be profitable.

Carl is also responsible for all our guests prior to arrival, during their stay and even after their departure.  He aims to provide guests with quality service and will handle all inquiries and suggestions, including registration, housekeeping and concierge services. Carl speaks Afrikaans and English.
   
Charlene van Zyl

Business Development Manager
Charlene's primary role is to manage and nurture our current group of corporate clients and tour/travel operators. In addition, she is responsible for proactively developing new business in the corporate, goverment and leisure travel segments.
 

 
  Sonia Hanekom

Admin/Guest Relations Manager
Sonia is responsible for all our guests prior to arrival, during their stay and even after their departure. She aims to provide guests with quality service and will handle all inquiries and suggestions, including registration, housekeeping and concierge services. Sonia speaks Afrikaans and English.
   
 

 

 

Housekeeping staff

We have four fulltime housekeepers, that received their training from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. They are responsible for all aspect of housekeeping and guest related services.
Wanda
Wanda joined the business fulltime in January 2007, and has two sons.
Cynthia

Cynthia has been with us on a full-time basis since June 2007, but was employed on a part-time basis in April 2007. She is the proud mother of a daughter.
Maureen

Maureen is the youngest of our housekeeping staff and she was employed in July 2007.

Olivia

Olivia is the latest addition to our housekeeping team and she joined us February 2010. She is the proud mother of a young girl.
